Winners of the Sunday, August 26th, 2012 "Anything Joe Can Do, Chris Can Do Better 60" race - also known as the "JUSTIN IS MAD THAT THE SHOCK ARE SELLIN' ASS ALTHOUGH HE'S SELLIN' ASS TO THE FAMILY KARTING CLUB! 60" - Joe Sereno won the 1st 30-Lapper in the Galletta's Greenhouse #5, and then Chris Stevens won the 2nd one in the very same Galletta's Greenhouse #5. That means that kart has won three of the last races it was in with two different drivers! Definitely a HOT kart right now a month away from our 17th Annual Galletta's Greenhouse Karting Klassic 200 Championship - and a kart that won two Klassics (2000 and 2001 with Chris Stevens behind the wheel)! MORE COMING SOON...YouTube video to this race is currently being produced and is forthcoming. The main battle in this race was Joe Sereno (#5) chased by Matt Stevens (#33) and Chris Stevens (started in his #74, then that Jokester Joe shut off the #74, which then broke a recoil dog on a restart, forcing Chris into another kart, the #8. But Chris made it back up to third within two laps anyways, so he lost nothing in the end). The Galletta's Greenhouse #5 looks dominant, putting Joe in victory lane in his last two attended race events!

A few drivers couldn't stay for the 2nd feature, asa few karts needed some TLC and the track was dry and needed some serious watering. Chris could not start the #4 and was almost ready to give up, not race and watch his Jets pre-season game inside. But Joe's departure left the #5 open, and Chris couldn't resist driving the kart he drove between 2000-2003, and won two track championships and two Galletta's Klassic Championships(2000 and 2001) behind the wheel! Only the building of the #8 got Chris out of the cockpit, and it has been one of the top backup karts for anybody in the club to drive.

The main battle in this race was Dave Spanfelner (#54) chased by Matt Stevens (#74) and Chris Stevens (#5). In fact, Chris and Matt passed each other back and forth taking shots at passing the D.D. Humphries #54, but neither could secure the top spot. Until lap traffic got in Dave's way, and he and Matt crashed in traffic, and Chris cleared everything in the low groove, putting that Galletta's Greenhouse #5 back in the lead. Chris then pulled away in the #5, which has also won three races in two weeks, two with Joe and one by Chris!
