Jerry Galletta is the son of Galletta's Greenhouse founder John Galletta, the father of driver Tim Galletta, grandfather of driver Justin Galletta, and uncle of drivers Chris Stevens, Matt Stevens, and Brian Galletta.

Race Notes:
Jerry took his son Tim's #54 kart out on the track before the time trials on a dare. He did not enter the actual 200. However, as usual under Galletta's rules, we'll score any driver who shows up on race day and takes some timed laps, and they will score points. The fact that many alleged karters in the local area have knowledge of our events (that pre-existed all of the currently-existing local pay tracks by at least a decade) and do not show up on race days (especially to our 200) are explained by the twofold problem of (1) being both too arrogant or afraid of real, hardcore, bare-bones karting such as ours and (2) only in kart racing to spend money on prefabricated prissy karts to race on expensive pay tracks on to try to get a stepping stone to get into big track racing (Haha... trust me, they don't care about what you do on those tracks and if you don't have the money/sponsors, it won't happen!).
