THE 2009 1-WD GAS KARTING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP DVD STORE:
The DVDs are $5 each with $3 shipping (shipping can be combined and adjusted on multiple orders, or you can arrange to pick-up for free at Galletta's Greenhouse). Each contains around two hours of racing material, two camera angles of each race, and has a YouTube Preview. The DVDs are all in high quality, as the YouTube "preview" videos are very pixilated and compressed due to time and bandwidth constraints. Every single race at Galletta's Backyard Karting Speedway has been recorded from late 2005-and-up (with select ones from 1998-2004), every Galletta's Go-Kart Klassic Championship Race from 1998-and-up, and every Oswego Kartway event from 2007-2008 (before our unique class was exiled because we exposed some things they wanted to keep silenced and irritated the temper-tantrum-prone and belligerent track operator and his buds). They are listed in chronological order, except the for the Klassic video first:

Galletta's Kart Club 2009 Volumes #16-17 - "2009 Klassic 200" DVD:
The 14th Galletta's Go-Kart Klassic 200: Our 14th Annual Klassic went 200 laps (technically 210 after counting cautions and green laps on tape). Russ Hockey scored the pole with a 16.22 and set a very fast pace while dominating the vast majority of the race, holding off challenges by Jesse Vivlemore, George Russell, and Chris Stevens. That was until late in the race Matt Stevens took the lead in his #33 on lap 162 and then held off his brother Chris--who had to come back from the rear after being in the top-3 all race and losing a drive-wheel nut late--to take the win, his 10th Klassic victory. However, Chris did break Matt's 8-year-straight Track Championship winning streak by racing and finishing consistently in the top-3 all year long, despite Matt having more total wins. This race became legendary for the fact that the top three karts did not pit and went all 200+ laps on one tank of pump gasoline! Russ, despite leading 152 laps, finished 2 laps down due to running out of fuel. Also contains the raw footage of the Bigfoot attack! Price $10 for 2-DVD set.

The Mysterious Professor Speedmonkey stole the Saturday, September 19th, 2009 Feature event at Galletta's Karting Speedway driving the Galletta's #1 kart. He was able to track down Ragin' Russ Hockey, who passed Tim Galletta early on and dominated until he broke his drive hub on the very last lap. Again, poor Russ came close to another victory, but yet so far. No cash-money prizes or stickers here, as Speedmonkey won a banana. Easy to please a true racer such as he. After all, he appears to be a monkey, and made a monkey out of all other karters. And quite the braggart as well.

Judging by our track size, the Galletta's Klassic we believe that it is the longest single karting feature event in the world, and the longest-running and most prestigious dirt karting race in the local area. All karters worth a grain of salt should try to win this event, which only three people have been able to claim victory - the three most experienced karters in the area - Matt, Chris, and Wes Stevens.
